Lebanese Red Cross retrieves bodies after days of blocked access by Israel

Lebanese Red Cross teams have recovered several bodies in southern Lebanon after waiting more than nine days for access to the affected areas, according to Lebanon's National News Agency.

Ambulance crews from Nabatieh retrieved the bodies of a Syrian family - a father, mother and their son - from a car hit in an earlier attack by Israel on the Mefdoun–Zawtar–Wadi Kfardjal road. The bodies remained at the site since the strike, with access denied for days.

Rescue teams also recovered the body of a man killed in a drone strike on his farm along the Shoukin–Nabatieh al-Fouqa road.

In a separate operation, crews retrieved another body in the town of Mefdoun. All victims were transferred to the morgue at Al-Najda Al-Shaabiya Hospital in Nabatieh.
