Lebanese ministry says death toll from Israeli attacks crosses 3,000

The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has surpassed 3,000, Lebanon’s health ministry said on Monday, as cross-border hostilities between Hezbollah and the Israeli army continued to escalate.

Hezbollah later said it had carried out a drone attack targeting Israeli soldiers in the southern Lebanese town of Rachaf, describing the strike as retaliation for deadly Israeli attacks on villages in southern Lebanon.
