UAE accelerates pipeline project to bypass Strait of Hormuz
The United Arab Emirates will accelarate its construction of the West-East oil pipeline, meant to double the export capacity of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), according to a statement by the media office of the government of Abu Dhabi.
The pipeline is meant to be operation by 2027, per the statement.
According to Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the pipeline would expand the UAE's ability to bypass the Strait of Hormuz.
