Israel heavily bombs southern city of Tyre in Lebanon
Israeli strikes on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, also known as Sour in Arabic, over the past hours have been some of the most intense bombardment of the area since March, according to Lebanse media.
L'Orient Today reported that buildings in the city centre were wholly destroyed, wounding multiple people.
The publication reported that Israelis forces bombed the same area in the centre of Tyre on Sunday shortly after an initial strike.
