Iran says conflict will define ‘good and evil’ for future generations
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei issued a lengthy statement on X describing the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran as a defining struggle that would determine “the very meaning of ‘good’ and ‘evil’ in our time and for future generations”.
Baghaei accused Israel and the US of fabricating justifications for violence, while portraying Iran as defending its homeland and human dignity through “its own strength and resolve”.
The Iranian official said the war would decide whether values such as human rights, the rule of law and basic morality would survive or be swept away.
He urged people who reject “barbarism and domination” to find the “moral courage” to speak out and stand “on the right side of history”.
