In België zijn in 2025 in totaal 108.033 baby’s geboren. Dat zijn er 4.431 minder dan het jaargemiddelde van 2021 tot 2024, een daling met 3,9 procent. Tegenover 2024 alleen blijft het aantal nagenoeg gelijk. Dat blijkt uit cijfers van Statbel, het Belgische statistiekbureau.
