Video: Palestinians in Gaza mark 1,000 days since Israel launched full-scale war on Gaza

Displaced Palestinians in Deir el-Balah, central Gaza, marked 1,000 days since Israel began its genocide on the besieged strip, following the Hamas-led attack in southern Israel on 7 October 2023.

According to Gaza’s Government Media Office, Israel has killed over 73,000 Palestinians since October 2023.

More than 21,500 of those killed in Gaza were children, including 1,022 babies. A further 9,500 people are missing, many believed to be buried under rubble, while 173,514 have been wounded.

Palestinian authorities have reported that Israel has destroyed over 90 percent of the Gaza Strip, and Israeli forces now control 80 percent of the territory.

“Today marks 1,000 days since the displacement, destruction, bombing, devastation, and forced migration.”
