US determines hostilities against Iran have ended, says official
US hostilities against Iran that began in late February have been "terminated", a senior US official told NBC News.
"Both parties agreed to a 2-week ceasefire on Tues, April 7 that has since been extended," NBC News reporter Monica Alba said in a post on X, citing the senior administration official as saying.
On 8 April, the US agreed on a temporary ceasefire with Iran, halting hostilities and restarting negotiations.
