Two Knesset members face Hind Rajab Foundation genocide incitement complaint

The Hind Rajab Foundation (HRF) has filed a criminal complaint in the Netherlands against Israeli Knesset members Ram Ben Barak and Moshe Solomon, accusing them of incitement to genocide.

The complaint was submitted ahead of their participation in the 33rd annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in The Hague, from 4 to 8 July.

HRF said that Ben Barak, who heads Israel's delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, has repeatedly promoted the “voluntary migration” of Palestinians from Gaza.

In November 2023, he proposed dispersing Gaza's population across more than 100 countries, saying it would be “better to be a refugee in Canada than in Gaza”.

Moshe Solomon, a figure in the Religious Zionism Party, champions the re-establishment of Israeli settlements in Gaza and calls for permanent Israeli control of the enclave.

“The statements of Ben Barak and Solomon are not mere political opinions. They are public incitements to commit genocide,” HRF director Dyab Abou Jahjah said in a statement.
