Trump says China's Xi has become a 'friend'
US President Donald Trump says his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping has "become really a friend", asserting that the two leaders "settled a lot of different problems that other people wouldn’t have been able to settle".
Trump also expressed he made "fantastic trade deals" with China.
On the war on Iran, the US president indicated that both leaders "feel very similar", saying: "We want that to end. We we don’t want them to have a nuclear weapon. We want the straits open."
