Trump claims 19 million barrels of oil passed through Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump has claimed that 19 million barrels of oil exited the Strait of Hormuz on Monday.

In a post on his Truth Social account, he hailed the figure as "an all time RECORD".

“Oil prices are tumbling down, and the world is a much safer place!” he added.

The figures have not yet been independently verified.
