Settlers raid several West Bank villages as attacks escalate

Israeli settlers raided several Palestinian communities across the occupied West Bank, with local reports describing attacks, arrests and confrontations involving Israeli security forces.

In Arrabeh, south of Jenin, settlers reportedly entered the yard of a Palestinian home and attempted to steal a flock of sheep.

In the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar, east of Jerusalem, Israeli police arrested three residents after settlers entered the area.

In Idhna, west of Hebron, settlers reportedly entered the village while Israeli soldiers used crowd-control measures against local residents.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said a young man was struck by a rubber-coated steel bullet and two elderly Palestinians were injured while trying to protect their sheep.

Separately, medics said two Palestinians were wounded in a settler attack in Yarza in the northern Jordan Valley, with one requiring hospital treatment.
