Saudi Arabia suggests Middle East non-aggression pact with Iran
Saudi Arabia is reportedly floating the idea of a non-aggression agreement between Middle East states and Iran as part of discussions on how to manage regional conflict, according to the Financial Times, citing two western diplomatic sources.
The FT reported that Saudi Arabia may be looking to the 197os Helsinki Process, which facilitated de-escalation in Europe during the cold war, as a potential model for these talks.
