Report: Israel and US weighing options for renewed attacks on Iran
Israeli and US military officials held meetings on plans to take in the case of renewed military action against Iran over the past week, according to a report by the Israeli public broadcaster KAN.
The report indicated that senior Israeli military officials and representatives from US Central Command discussed scenarios involving US strikes aimed at pressuring Tehran to return to negotiations as well as tightening a maritime blockade in the Strait of Hormuz.
Tel Aviv also reportedly expressed to Washington interest in resuming military action against Iran, arguing that the war on Tehan ended "earlier than it should have".
