On May 16, a senior IS group figure was killed in a strike led by Nigerian and US forces as part of a joint operation to target jihadists of the group in the northeast of Nigeria. But although Abu-Bilal al-Minuki was a prominent figure of the IS group, he wasn't the second-in-command of IS group worldwide, as US President Donald Trump claimed at the time of his killing.
