Høyresidekandidaten Abelardo de la Espriella går mot en knepen seier i det colombianske presidentvalget, melder AFP.
Da over 99 prosent av stemmene var opptalt, hadde de la Espriella sikret seg 49,67 prosent av stemmene. Den venstreorienterte rivalen Iván Cepeda endte på 48,69 prosent, ifølge tall fra valgmyndighetene.
47 år gamle Abelardo de la Espriella er en uttalt beundrer av Donald Trump og har mottatt helhjertet støtte fra den amerikanske presidenten, melder NTB. De la Espriella har aldri tidligere hatt et offentlig verv.
