Man wins €1m Picasso painting for €100 in charity raffle – video

A Parisian art enthusiast has won a Pablo Picasso painting worth more than €1m after buying a €100 raffle ticket. Ari Hodara, a 58-year-old software engineer, bought his ticket at the weekend after hearing about the raffle by chance in a restaurant. He found out he had won Head of a Woman, a portrait of Picasso’s muse Dora Maar painted in 1941 when he got a video call from Christie’s auction house in Paris.
