Kuwait and Bahrain issue public alerts amid missile and drone threats
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces said they are responding to missile and drone attacks and urged the public to follow official safety and security instructions as the situation develops.
In neighbouring Bahrain, the Ministry of Interior said alarm sirens had been activated and called on residents to remain calm.
“Citizens and residents are urged to remain calm and head to the nearest safe place,” the ministry said in a post on X, as regional tensions continued to escalate.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army said it intercepted what it described as a “hostile aircraft”, while two others targeted an area where Israeli forces were stationed in southern Lebanon.
