Een robot heeft de halve marathon van Peking afgelegd in een recordtijd. Hij legde de ruim 21 kilometer af in een tijd van 50 minuten en 26 seconden. Dat is niet alleen sneller dan de eerste mens die aan de halve marathon deelnam, maar ook een verpulvering van het wereldrecord van 57 minuten en 20 seconden, dat op naam staat van de Oegandees Jacob Kiplimo.
