Israeli officials voice frustration as Hezbollah attacks intensify
Growing frustration is emerging in northern Israel as Hezbollah's attacks continue despite months of military operations and repeated promises that security would be restored.
According to reports in Israeli media, Kiryat Shmona's deputy mayor warned that he would give the government one month to improve conditions in the city before considering a political break with the ruling Likud party.
He reportedly threatened to resign alongside dozens of other party members “if there is no good news”.
Residents in northern communities have also voiced confusion over the security situation.
The spokesman for the emergency team in Kibbutz Kabri said it remains unclear whether residents are living through a ceasefire or an ongoing war.
