Israeli forces carry out arrests across West Bank
Israeli forces carried out a series of raids and arrests across the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
Al Jazeera reported that soldiers stormed the town and arrested three brothers and one of their sons in Kafr Qaddum near Qalqilya.
The report said that forces raided homes at dawn and detained two people, including a former prisoner in Iktaba near Tulkarem.
In Beit Ummar in the Hebron area, eight people were arrested after soldiers swept through several neighbourhoods.
The report added that Israeli forces tightened movement restrictions across the northern West Bank, closing checkpoints near Ramallah and firing tear gas at residents.
Roads were blocked and traffic built up as vehicles were prevented from passing through several key routes.
