Israel issues expulsion orders for nine villages in south Lebanon

The Israeli military's Arabic-language spokesman Avichay Adraee issued expulsion orders for residents of nine towns and villages including south Lebanon's Sarafand, a town on the coastal road between Sour (Tyre) and Saida.

In one post on X, the warning included Sarafand, Tefahta, al-Babaliyeh, Qaaqaiyet el-Snoubar, Marwaniyeh, Saksakiyeh.

In an earlier post, Adraee warned three villages north of the Litani River in southern Lebanon, including Arnaya (Arnabba), Anqoun, Kafr Fila, to leave their homes.

The military ordered people to immediately move away from their villages and towns by at least 1,000 metres into open areas.

Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported mass displacement from the three villages named in the warning, and it subsequently reported a strike on Arqoun.
