Iran-US indirect talks continue in Doha
Indirect talks between Iran and the United States have continued in Doha since Tuesday night, a senior Iranian official told Reuters.
The official said the discussions focused on the release of Iranian funds and the Strait of Hormuz.
“Indirect negotiations began on Tuesday night. Iran held meetings with Qatari and Pakistani officials, who in turn met with the U.S. side. The indirect talks continued on Wednesday, focusing on Iran's frozen assets and the Strait of Hormuz,” the official said on Wednesday.
Qatar and Pakistan are acting as intermediaries between Tehran and Washington, according to the official.
