Hospital moves to fortified operations as Israel braces for attacks

Israeli media reported that Soroka Hospital in the Negev has shifted operations to fortified areas and is receiving emergency cases only as authorities implement heightened security measures amid escalating tensions with Iran.

Channel 12 reported that educational institutions have been closed nationwide and that public activities and gatherings have been cancelled.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to convene a meeting of the security cabinet, according to multiple Israeli media reports.

The Times of Israel, citing an unnamed official, said the session would be a limited meeting attended by a small group of senior ministers to discuss the latest security developments.
