EU reaches deal on US trade pact as Trump threatens new tariffs by July 4

EU lawmakers and member states reached a deal early on Wednesday to implement the bloc’s trade pact with the United States, ending months of wrangling over the accord as President Donald Trump threatened fresh tariffs unless it was approved by July 4.
