The French capital's Eiffel Tower, one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world, has closed early on June 23 because of exceptionally high temperatures. This comes as Paris struggles to cope with a historic heatwave, and residents try to adapt in a city that is not made to withstand such extreme weather. FRANCE 24's Caroline Baum is at the Eiffel Tower and spoke with some of its last visitors for the day.
