About 100 guerrillas surrendered their weapons in southern Colombia on Thursday under a peace deal with leftist President Gustavo Petro, AFP learned. Some 99 rebels from the National Coordinating Committee of the Bolivarian Army laid down arms in Putumayo province ahead of Sunday's presidential runoff election.
