Cannes pays tribute to ‘Thelma and Louise’ in festival poster

Every year, the Cannes Film Festival draws up a new poster. It always features an especially striking still from movie history, and it is then plastered up all over town and appears on pencils, fridge magnets and mugs. This year, they’ve picked a moment from Ridley Scott’s feminist fable, Thelma and Louise, which first premiered at the festival right back in 1991. Alison Sargent has more.
