Three pieces of wire and string, a clothespin, a cork – these humble materials gave rise to the famous sculptures of American artist Alexander Calder, now on majestic display at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris. Some 300 works, including 139 sculptures and 33 paintings, will enliven the vast galleries until August 16, as well as, for the first time, the museum’s garden designed by the American-Canadian architect Frank Gehry, who passed away in December 2025.
