Trump threatens new strikes on Iran if talks fail
Trump has warned that US warships are being reloaded with weaponry to attack Iran if ceasefire talks in Pakistan fall through.
“We have a reset going. We’re loading up the ships with the best ammunition, the best weapons ever made – even better than what we did previously and we blew them apart,” he said in an interview on Friday with The New York Post.
“And if we don’t have a deal, we will be using them, and we will be using them very effectively,” the US president continued.
Trump also said that Vice President JD Vance has "nothing to prove" in negotiating the peace deal, since he is "dealing against people that we don’t know whether or not they tell the truth".
