Saudi Arabia says it intercepted seven missiles, debris falls near energy sites
Saudi Arabia said it intercepted and destroyed seven ballistic missiles launched toward its Eastern Region, with debris falling near energy facilities, the defence ministry said.
Authorities said damage assessments were underway and did not specify who launched the missiles.
The kingdom has faced repeated missile and drone attacks since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran, most of which have been intercepted, according to officials. Iran has carried out strikes targeting Israel and Gulf states hosting US military assets.
