Russia evacuates 198 workers from Iran's Bushehr atomic plant
Russia began a planned evacuation of 198 of its workers from Iran's Bushehr atomic plant shortly after a US-Israeli attack targeted the facility on Saturday.
Russia's nuclear agency Rosatom has been removing its staff from Iran since the start of the war, with the most recent evacuation being its largest to date.
The agency's head, Alexey Likhachev, was cited by Russian reports as saying that the developments near the plant were unfolding in line with the worst-case scenario, warning that the possibility of a nuclear accident is increasing.
