Quds Force chief links ceasefire to broader regional groups
Esmail Qaani, commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, said the “resistance front is stronger and more cohesive than ever” as talks continue involving the United States and Israel.
He said pressure on allied groups would not weaken them.
Qaani said Israel believes pressure could force surrender, but added that “the culture of resistance” makes groups more resilient under strain.
Iran’s resistance front includes Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen and allied groups in Palestine, Syria and Iraq. He said any ceasefire must extend to Lebanon and the wider alliance.
