Protesters rally in Tunis in solidarity with Iran

Anti-war protesters on Saturday gathered along Habib Bourguiba Avenue in central Tunis to demonstrate in solidarity with Iran amid the attacks by the United States and Israel. 

Demonstrators called for an end to the fighting and expressed opposition to the ongoing strikes.

The war began after the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran on 28 February, prompting retaliation by Tehran across the region.

The conflict has drawn in global powers and disrupted energy and transport sectors across the Middle East.
