Over 6,500 wounded in Lebanon, death toll climbs amid relentless Israeli attacks

Israeli strikes in Lebanon have killed at least 2,055 people and wounded 6,588 others since 2 March, the country’s Health Ministry said, as Israeli bombing and raids continue.

“We don’t want someone to deceive us … and distract us with negotiations,” Hussein Meslmani, sheltering in a school in Tyre, told Reuters, calling for a definitive end to the conflict.

Israeli aggression has displaced 20 percent of Lebanon's population. In less than a month, 1.1 million people in Lebanon, including more than 390,000 children, have been forcibly displaced.
