Iran warns strike on Bushehr nuclear plant would be a ‘war crime’
Iran has warned that any US or Israeli strike on its Bushehr nuclear power plant would amount to a “war crime” under international law, its envoy to the UN’s atomic watchdog told AFP on Thursday.
Reza Najafi, Iran’s ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, also rejected claims that Tehran had “restarted enrichment” of radioactive uranium following US-Israeli strikes on its nuclear facilities in June 2025.
