Dubai Media Office confirms debris strike on Internet City building

Authorities in Dubai said debris from an aerial interception fell onto the facade of the Oracle building in Dubai Internet City, prompting a response from emergency services.

“Authorities confirm that they responded to a minor incident caused by debris from an aerial interception that fell on the facade of the Oracle building in Dubai Internet City,” the Dubai Media Office said in a post on X.

Oracle featured on a list of 18 US companies that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has vowed to target in retaliation for attacks on the country.

The incident follows an earlier case in which debris fell on a building facade in Dubai Marina, also without causing fire or injuries, according to officials.
